A few months ago, we announced that we will stop supporting the subversion infrastructure. The next milestone will be July 1st. At that point we will stop creating subversion accounts for new contributors.
This means that you can no longer assume a contributor can also contribute to code still around in SVN. If you maintain an app still in SVN, now would be a great time to move to Git. Do not keep sitting on it, stop finding excuses (one valid exception are objecting cats though).
Hop into #kde-sysadmin or #kde-git on Freenode to get started. Remember that stuff that remains in subversion will be deleted in the end….
